Implementing the infrastructure as code
Media group whose activity is focused on the production and broadcasting of television content and which currently operates the television channels Telecinco, Cuatro, Factoría de Ficción, Boing, Divinity, Energy, Be Mad TV, etc. in Spain.
OBJECTIVES
Mediaset Spain decided to implement a generalised and improved management of Infrastructure as a Code, which had initially been implemented ad hoc for some of its applications.

THE SOLUTION
IaC (Infrastructure as Code) management with Terraform on the Amazon Web Services platform:
- Management of instances, self-scaling groups, VPCs, security groups, domains, S3 buckets, load balancers, EFS file sharing systems, and all general infrastructure
- Common tasks related to adding, deleting, modifying and changing resources
- Variable refactoring
- IaS to IaC import via Terraform Import
- Integrating multiple AWS accounts into Terraform to share IDs between IaCs
- Use AWS CloudFormation Spot
