knowmad mood, a leading technology consulting firm specializing in digital transformation solutions, has announced the acquisition of Vanture ESS, an IT consultancy where a total of 150 professionals contribute to its operations, based in Barcelona with over 15 years of experience in business management solutions. This acquisition enhances knowmad mood’s capacity to offer SAP and Odoo services to medium and large enterprises, further consolidating its market position.
Vanture ESS is a SAP Gold Partner, distinguished in the sector for its integration of S4BOOST, an innovative methodology that goes beyond traditional technology projects by leveraging predictive artificial intelligence. Additionally, the company is a Silver Partner in Odoo, a cloud-based solution that optimizes business management and operational processes.
Its client portfolio primarily focuses on sectors such as hospitality, public administration, distribution, and media. The integration of Vanture ESS into knowmad mood will create strategic synergies and cross-selling opportunities between both companies, strengthening their ability to provide comprehensive solutions in SAP and Odoo technologies.
Expansion and strategic growth
The acquisition of Vanture ESS is part of knowmad mood’s ambitious exponential growth plan, which in recent years has integrated several strategic consultancies into its ecosystem. These include the UK-based New Verve Consulting in 2022, Incipy in 2023, and in 2024, INTERWOR, ASERVO Software, and Grupo Antea.

According to unaudited 2024 results, Vanture ESS has recorded approximately €12.2 million in revenue and an EBITDA exceeding 10%.

Financial growth and knowmad mood’s consolidation
This operation takes place in a context of strong growth for knowmad mood, which closed 2024 with a revenue of €210 million—25% more than in 2023. Additionally, its normalized EBITDA increased by 45%, reaching at least €15 million, according to unaudited data. This strengthens its position as a key player in the IT sector.
International growth has also been significant, with a 104% increase in revenue outside Spain, now accounting for more than 12% of the company’s total revenue. This performance reaffirms the robustness of its expansion strategy and its ability to integrate new companies efficiently.
Operation details
The acquisition of 100% of Vanture ESS’s shares was agreed upon at a fixed price of €7 million, with an additional incentive contingent on the successful execution of an ambitious business plan for 2025 and 2026.
