Information about a recent security incident in our Information Systems.
Yesterday, we identified an unauthorized access to our systems due to an improper use of an employee’s credentials, which may have its origin in a case of identity theft.
This unauthorized access only lasted for a period of 30 minutes, thanks to the support of our IT Department and the preventive security measures in place, the access was blocked and any further unauthorized access attempts were prevented.
Since then, after the corresponding verifications, there is no record of any further unauthorized access and our systems continue to operate normally. It is important to note that our communications and VPNs have not been compromised, ensuring secure continuity in the provision of our services.
We are taking all necessary measures to mitigate any possible impact of this incident and will report this to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) in compliance with our legal obligations.
The security of our systems has been reinforced to avoid future similar incidents.
